Almost out of sight in this area around Sta. Cruz, where busy streets, cramped housing and congested traffic, stands this Art deco inspired structure.



now I don't know what happened to this building but it seems to have its glory
back in the days and now, judging from its condition, what's left are
low cost rental housing for the middle class.

" Yellow house "

This sunny apartment located along Osmena highway
is one of the many public housing provided by the government.

But the problem is that there's not enough allocation for the common people
and in a government with too much hush-hush and anomalies, building something takes time and money.
As a result, most of them were forced to live in unstable conditions,
i.e the shanties area I've shown the other day.

It's shouting for a makeover but still original in its own and I like
how everything's under one roof.

" Outdated "

Bambang is a street that's famous for its U2 clothes, not to be confused
with the band, it's what we locally call it here i.e. Used clothes.
This aside, I spotted this house from afar and always find it a pity that an
old heritage house like this seems haunted with no plans of refurbishing it.
I always fancy its details and the nostalgic feel of it.

On my way home, i saw this old dilapidated house...
i think this was built around the 60's, unless it's restored as a musuem, usually houses like these are being demolished thus,rebuilding a new structure again.
