Domo-kun - a famous TV character in Japan.
Recently, stalls here (after getting over with the Angry Birds craze) have been
selling this character from bags to key chains and tee's inspired.



and Logo shirts too, here you can have Paris and Batman just as you like it.

This is one of the options for drying your clothes.
But it is a bit scary, I actually saw this lady getting her clothes from the other
roof, like an acrobatic stunt, but

I know it's a cliche, but funny how time flies fast.
Last year, I was daring myself to start a blog about Manila without giving up
and hurrah for myself because I can't believe that's it's been a year and plus
already and surprisingly, still going. ^-^
(I usually don't have this kind of patience.)

" a store called Besa's "

Ask every shoe expert if they know " Besa's " and I'm sure they've heard it already.

Though its exterior doesn't do justice, uninviting and perhaps a bit outdated.
It's been around quite a while, since 1935.
The first shop opened in Escolta (I posted last week), back then,
it was the "In" hub of Manila.

The shoes are mostly made to order, handmade, it's good and detailed craftsmanship, hence, the prices don't come cheap.

" World Cup "

Unlike other countries, people aren't world cup fanatics here,
they prefer basketball over soccer.
Though that's the case, at Sofitel Philippine Plaza, there's this huge ball displayed at the concierge.
Everyone's taking a photo of it, that's for sure.

And now that the craze is over and
Spain for the first time has finally won the world cup.
Congrats! ^0^
Needless to say, "Paul" the fame- octopus- fortune teller was really right.

On another note, thanks guys for your concern last week.
I did try to get some rest, tried gargling with salt and water and also with honey. ^-^
It really does the trick eh?!
