" what's cooking ? "

sorry for the on and off postings I've been having lately.
the "blah" life has been really hectic and I seem to be in no mood for anything.

anyways, I was out for a walk to buy some dindins after work and taking random photos of here and there.
This was minutes before the vendor was about to call it a day.
Not a trés bon angle but I like how the light was focusing on this cart.





and this one, on a greyish area.
I like the nostalgic feel of this, where nowadays everything looks generically commercial.

" Army Navy "

if you crave mexican food and can't get enough of burritos and tacos,
then there's a new hip fast food resto in town - Army Navy.



the place has a good ambiance.
perfect for a quick bite to eat without bumping into someone's table.



recommended must try.
this is what I ordered, the burrito steak, but would've love to try the chicken
and burger too! if only my stomach can digest this much! ^0^

Barbara's is a name of an old resto here in Intramuros that serves authentic
Spanish-Filipino cuisine.

Haven't tried their food yet, some said it's delicious, others don't.

" Cafe Ilang Ilang "

Cafe Ilang Ilang as the name suggests is a resto that offers buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
But nothing seems stunning when the lights go dim and the dining experience becomes interesting as its interior.
I've never been there before, so I don't have an inkling what it looks like then, but the newly decorated furnishings was a definite masterpiece.

The one bit that I found most intriguing is this dome shaped room,
for those who wanted less noise outside and more privacy.
It looks small in this foto but has quite a room for at least 20 people.




and on the left is an array of delectable selections.


the place seems like a maze at first, but in every corner you turn are different kinds of cuisine for you to choose.

" Christmas is near and it's here "

Remember Aristocrat, the scrumptious Barbeque take out I had awhile back?! ^-^



This is their main restaurant here in Malate and why not Trees on top of the roof eh?!

My first post with something Christmas inspired. ^0^
and although, I haven't been out and about lately, been busy with this and that.
There's always something magical and a whimsy feeling when you see how trees
lights up at night.

" Max's Restaurant "

Max's restaurant has been around
for ages.
It's one of the pioneers when it comes to delectable, succulent, juicy
fried chicken and as a kid, I have fond memories about it, for the record,
I never say no to chicken. ^-^
This is their branch in Roxas blvd. overlooking the bay.

" Seafood Market "

Then another Chinese restaurant here in Malate.
I reckon you'll notice the chefs on the background.
I usually pass by this area, but i haven't tried it yet, so whether or not
it's delicious, i really don't know. ^-^
but I do like its gleaming signage, such cool green and reddish pink tones.
