where in the world is Tagbilaran? ...

Tagbilaran is the capital of Bohol (province) , a popular destination known for its pristine beaches, underwater diving, the "Kisses" (CHocolate Hills) and of course, the endangered Tarsier.

Join me as I post something out of Manila and visit something nature lover and 
beach bum likes. 

 

I was happy when Mom said she'd be going to Bohol last two weeks ago with her friends for a 
get together/bonding/reminiscing the old days. 
so, for 4days and 3nights, packed with sunscreen, a tropical hat, shades, re-chargeable batteries and the whole post-summer escapade things,
she was off along with her handy camera.  ^0^

 


 so, here are some of the highlights and must see, if ever you wish to visit Bohol.

" Centennial Airport "

The centennial airport located near NAIA (handling International flights) is considered to be one of the newest construction that solely caters to
Philiipine Airlines owned by tycoon Mr. Lucio Tan.

On an early 6-ish dawn, this is what it looks like, still dark and quiet, looks like noone is around that's because it's still early.
A pathway going inside the airport.
I like the subdued tone of this faux arch lighting it highlights the curve detail of its design. We often see the big modern side of the bldg. that we neglect to notice the small ones.

a shop like this sells trinkets... from wind chimes,postcards, ornaments, hand made rugs, intricate piece of jewelry, gemstones and rattan handicrafts.

good quality cigars...

personally, i don't smoke and i don't intend to... but i'm always curious to try out that pipe, when i was a kid... i used to catch my grandpa smoking outside our patio and my auntie has a tobacco business in the province.

Filipinos are generally addicted to smoking... they can skip breakfast but definitely not this habit...well i guess, most of the men do... ^-^

and so my trip to s'pore has finally ended... ^-^

still tired and sleepy... apart from my insomnia, three sleepless nights at the hotel and relentless rains... this trip has been amazing! ^-^

i'll be posting some pictures on my other blog soon...be glad if you can take a visit, but for now, i need rest! ^-^
