" Theme day: Funny Sign "

The theme day for this month turned out to be pretty challenging.
I couldn't find any funny sign at all. ^0^
maybe because I also haven't been photo hunting lately...
so here's a sign that says:

= BAWAL MATULOG SA FOODCOURT =
lit. translation: Don't Sleep on the Foodcourt.

why the sign?
Filipinos have a thing for sleeping, we love our afternoon siestas,
but sometimes,some of them go way overboard to the point that they will sleep anywhere as long as it's comfortable.



This one was seen on a public food court around Manila.

" I saw the sign "

Street signs are everywhere in Manila, there's a "No left turn sign",
another that prohibits Calesa (horse drawn carriage), Pedicab (a 3 wheeled bike)
and Tricycles (a 3wheeled motorcycle) to pass around this intersection and the
pink one on top that says:
"Walang Tawiran; Nakamamatay" literally means
"No Crossing or It may caused your Life".

Although the traffic management has been warning people again and again,
that accidents do happen if one crosses the intersection without a pedxing sign or when the green lights are still on.
some of us are blatantly stubborn headed and refused to listen to any of these pre-cautions.

As a driver, it drives me nuts how people can be so inconsiderate and undiscipline at times.

what is significant about this spot?




If China has a "No Spitting" sign and Singapore has a "No Durian allowed" inside the mrt.
In almost every alley and street in Manila you'll find this sign Bawal Umihi Dito and wonder what it means... I couldn't find an exact translation of this but it's simply: "No Urinating!"

I'm not proud to share this but here, most men in general has a habit of peeing on the dark alleys or anywhere for that matter...blame it on the uncontrollable call of nature...

This barricade was on the corner of US embassy and lurkers like me holding a camera is a definite no-no.
I was hoping to take a photo of the facade of the embassy when i stumbled on this bill. A few seconds later, a security guard on bike was roaming around and silently eyeing at me and my camera.
hmm... then i saw that there was another bigger sign: no loiterring,
no photography, no littering sign around the area.
