apologies for not posting much about the Christmas spirit we have here.
again, it's been a busy and tiring week.
I like the image in this foto, it shows a hard working man,
more colorful ads, an iconic image of a local actor and the trees!
they look like pine trees which is so unlike Manila.

This will be my last post for the year 2010.
I'll be off somewhere and have my ultimate rest and relaxation (i hope).
I promise to share with you fotos of my trip and galore.

meanwhile,
I've been blogging not so long ago, posting during my highs and lows,
whether rain or shine, I try to post a thing or two about Manila,
its beauty and the opposite.

" Burger me "

The other week, Layrayski of Butuan Daily Photo posted something similar to this.
Today, I wanted to show you the Manila version of this,
taken somewhere near the City Hall and it's open 24hours.
The cheapest burger in town for less than dollar, but what about the taste?
now that's something subjective, all i can say is that at least, it fills your stomach.

This is their main restaurant here in Malate and why not Trees on top of the roof eh?!

" Underpass "

so if ever you're in Quiapo or somewhere near the area and you wish to cross the street, instead of heading towards traffic with honking fast cars, the easiest short cut is to go underpass.
It links you to streets like Lacson, Villalobos, Hidalgo, etc.
This is the easiest short cut,
It used to be uninviting, outdated and a den for thieves, but thankfully,
all that has changed and things have improved, even installation of some fancy lights and an lcd screen were some of its added highlights.
But the most interesting about this is that lotto outlet which was always featured in the news.

how everything's under one roof.

" Imagination gone wild "

as the title suggest,
This is a rather obscure art piece installed along Roxas blvd.
I think there's also one installed outside the Ayala museum in Makati.



What it signifies, who is the artist...
I don't have a clue.
I think it helps if they put a plaque of some sort to give us at least some idea as to why it's on display.

" Time "

I know it's a cliche, but funny how time flies fast.
Last year, I was daring myself to start a blog about Manila without giving up
and hurrah for myself because I can't believe that's it's been a year and plus
already and surprisingly, still going. ^-^
(I usually don't have this kind of patience.)



This is the closest I could find for this month's theme.
Shot along Guadalupe station as I caught this cleaning guy in a hurry
to finish his job.
