" Unclog "

You must be wondering what's it got to do with the photo.

Here in downtown, don't be surprised to see guys like them
on the side of the street, they're not the local Tambays.
*a slang word for people who like to hang around and do nothing.*

Photobucket

If they have this spinning steel wire placed in front of them,
then they're actually offering services that needs help down there, no pun intended,
that is sorting out the drainage to whatnot, instead of doing it yourself.

" Mermaid Sunset "

The way I imagine it:

The sun is its head and the way it shines down on the water as it flicker is its tail.

one can't help but be riveted about it. ^-^

I wish you all a super great weekend ahead. ^0^

" He scores! "

Filipinos have a thing for basketball,
I don't know why they like it so much,
It's like Japan is to Baseball as Europe is to football,

Most Sundays, some parts of the alleyway and side streets would be barricaded
and impassable to cars.

I don't think it's a hassle for most of the drivers,
I don't hear them complain about it,
but It is a bit troublesome for me, because instead of taking a
shorter trip to my destination,
I am forced to take the other street, only to find out
that it's also barricaded because, there's another basketball game happening.
When they're kind enough to let you pass, you take extra caution as not to
hit anyone or in case the ball accidentally hits your car.

Although, there are certain areas provided for this recreation and leisure event,
in a city where it's overpopulated,
It's literally not enough.

" Rude Awakening "

The traffic light was red when I saw this kid,
I was immediately drawn by him that at such a young age,
he knew he had to help his father sell ripe mangoes on the street.

Sometimes you can't help but feel pity for these kids.
Hardly a chance for a better life and sometimes deprived of education.

" Barbara's "

Photobucket

Barbara's is a name of an old resto here in Intramuros that serves authentic
Spanish-Filipino cuisine.

Haven't tried their food yet, some said it's delicious, others don't.

Me, I just like its exterior, as if transported back in time.

" Trash 101 "

One of the good things that I've noticed recently is the proper segregation of waste.

Photobucket

But seriously, does anyone follow this rule ?
A perfect example would be in our vicinity,
even when there are specific signs for bio and non biodegradable,
still, as if illiterate people, nobody is following it.

In other countries, one is aware of this simple rules,
sadly, it's not the case here.

" Luneta Park "

and while others go to mall or to church during Sunday,
some opted to go to parks despite the hot weather.
An idyllic park along Luneta during Sunday.
Kite flying, playing badminton or merely hanging out and enjoy the view.

So, what's your weekend usually like ? ^0^

* what looks like an obelisk from afar is actually the statue of Dr. Jose Rizal.
