This was taken on a scorching midday, not really an emminent bridge here in Manila,
somewhere in the downtown area.
In fact, some of the passers-by were wondering what in the world am I doing...
but, despite the foul-smelling river of Pasig or
the old shabby houses on the right.
One has to keep an open mind that there's still a something to look out for.
A mixture of old and new structures.
An aged tree that still grows on a tilted position or the pink Bougainvilleas that catch sight of
an almost clear reflection.
When most of us tend to neglect this part of the day to take a look at our surroundings
and appreciate some beauty in it.
I wish you guys a Happy weekend! ^0^

Very well spotted, the touch of pink gives your photos it's character
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you didn't fall into the river as that would have been nasty! It's really fascinating how the well structured buildings can co-exist with the shanties.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again. Enjoy a gorgeous weekend!
Such a dirty-looking river, yet it causes such greenery to flourish in the most inhospitable of places
ReplyDeleteI like this shot. It is a very urban image.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a pretty nice looking canal if the trash could be removed.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
That tree is amazing! It looks like it's growing out of the wall ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think you were doing exactly what is expected by a blogger! Good that you did! :-)
