" Binondo Church "

I have showed you Binondo church several times already, its exterior and interior,
this time though, the light was better, sadly though, my camera wasn't. ^0^
I somehow couldn't get the white balance right using a p*s.

I can't help looking up and see these wonderful depicted paintings of Christ and Mother Mary, not your usual trompe-l'oeil though.

warning: intentionally tilted the foto

Although, not your usual church goer,
I like visiting churches and appreciate how historic or modern it used to be.

  2. I can't say I've even seen Binondo church. What a beautiful interior with all those murals. Those are the stations of the cross right?

  3. I'm like you Arabesque, not much of a church goer, but have to admire the architecture and ornamentation of the interior of almost all churches and cathedrals. Beautiful images, well shown.

  5. Hi Arabesque! After 3 long months of hiatus, I am finally back to blogging. :)

I've been to Binondo church twice or thrice but never seen it's interior because I am not a Catholic. Though I am not a Catholic believer, I always admire the architecture and grandeur of churches.

  6. Wow. That's a very beautiful church. I wish we had more churches like that. Sometimes churches here can be a bit utilitarian. I love murals on the wall and stain glass.
