*Roro* ferries are probably one of the most efficient and economical ways of getting around the
major destinations throughout the Philippines.
I've never got on a roro ride before but based on what i've heard, apart from the long hours of waiting...
It's surprisingly an enjoyable ride, while on board, you can even alight and had a glimpse of the view and the sea.
*Roro - means roll-on and roll-off, wheeled cargo gets on and off the ferry by a giant platform that also serves as the ferries main door.

I'm really grateful with this ro-ro. It's been a big help on our local travels. There are more rooms for improvement though but I think, we're getting there:)
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThat is a big ferry! Have never rode on one but have always wanted to. Have a great day!

We came from Wales to Ireland in 1990 on a RO-RO. The comfort depends on the weather, I think!
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the Team, thanks for your post.
Ferries of all kinds keep the wheels moving. Not unlike our archipelago.
ReplyDeleteThis one reminded of the TV commercial of Her excellency Gloria Arroyo about the Roro...lol! if my memory serves me right, I think it was year 2002 (???)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful Thursday to you.
I'm a fan of ferries, I think I would enjoy these.
