" The Pasig River "

A wasted graffiti on the side and some old lampposts,
come at night, the place literally looks like a ghost town.

I think these are Water Hyacinths/Lilies
and they seem to be thriving on polluted waters.

Surprisingly though, The river didn't smell bad at all...

  2. I've read it somewhere that the hyacinths can help clean the polluted water. Their roots absorb pollutants and heavy metals in the water. I think that explains why the river doesn't smell bad at all.

Thank you for your kind words and the anniversary wishes for Bandung Daily Photo.
