Fresh "Catanas" for sale outside a market, somewhere along Divisoria. Not my cup of tea really, but I always love its nutty and roasted aroma especially when the vendor starts to scoop out those hot roasted chestnuts.
Love them!
Love the photo and markets. Interesting effect with the glow of lights.
love em too.
Hmmm. My kind of snack. Wish I was there!
We absolutely love them, specially in the winter, when they are act as combined hands- and belly heater.
Yum! We call them "Kuri" here! I guess it's fall now in Manila, too ;-D
We call it kacang Bogor (lit. Bogor peanuts). This sight looks very familiar. It could very well be here.
Over here in Germany, they sellers of hot chestnuts have just come back on the streets. That is how you tell Autumn has truly arrived
thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)
Love them!
